Are you thinking of visiting Malaga city centre? Forget the busy train, the packed bus or trying to find a parking space in the mad city centre… just go on a fun ferry ride from Benalmadena Marina to Malaga Port.The trip only takes an hour and you get the added bonus of enjoying the stunning views of the coastline.
You’ll be jumping aboard a super modern and fast catamaran with capacity for up to 250 people. The ferry has two decks, an upper open deck (great for soaking up some sun) and a cooler and more protected interior deck. As you’d expect, there is also a full bar service so that you can enjoy a refreshing drink as you cruise into Malaga port!

We recommend you make a day of it and head off early in the morning. That way you’ll have all day to walk around Málaga and either do some sightseeing or ‘shop til you drop’ in the city’s famous Calle Larios.

- Calle Larios and the city’s historical centre
- Museums (Picasso, Thyssen, etc)
- Muelle Uno (Waterfront shopping centre)

you’ll have to get in touch with the ferry company directly on the number mentioned above. I don’t think they run in the winter time but best to call and check.

Yes Karen, but not every day. It runs on Monday, Thursday and Saturday leaving Benalmadena at 10:00am and 3:00pm and leaving Malaga at 11:30am and 4:30pm

Hi Akira, we don’t actually run the service, we’ve just written about it here on our blog. I don’t believe the service runs during the month of December.

Hi Manuela, we’ve just called the ferry company and apparently they will not be running any more ferries til next year. Sorry.
