All three of Selwo’s Costa del Sol parks and attractions (Selwo Marina, Selwo Aventura and the Benalmádena Cable Car) have put together a magical events and entertainment programme for this Christmas.
Until the 6th January, each of the parks and attractions will offer themed events, magical characters and exhibitions for kids.
Apparently, all children (aged 3 to 9 years) who visit any of the 3 parks over the Christmas period will receive a special gift: A kid’s season ticket which grants them unlimited free access to all the Selwo parks during 2015. So what’s the catch? Well, they need to be accompanied by an adult paying the full entrance price.
Here’s a quick summary of the surprises you can expect at each of the parks over Christmas:
Selwo Marina Delfinarium
At the entrance of this wonderful park, located just minutes away from the hotel, children will be greeted by magic elves who will give them their free passes for next year and will also collect any letters for Father Christmas or the Three Kings.
The team at Selwo Marina have done an amazing job decorating the Park; almost all these decorations have been made using recycled materials! If you visit the park you’ll find colourful trees, decorations in the shape of stars, octopi and jelly fish, father Christmas figures and snow flakes. More than 700 plastic bottles and cups, 50 pitchers, and recycled wood from around the park have been used to create these beautiful decorations.
Benalmadena Cable Car
If your kids want to meet Santa Claus, head on up to the Benalmadena Cable Car located next to Tivoli World. If they take their Christmas list letters, they can exchange them for a free season ticket to all the Selwo Parks.
If you travel choose to travel to the top of Mount Calamorro you’ll be treated to special Christmas decorations, birds of prey exhibitions, walking routes and, of course, the most spectacular views of Benalmadena and the rest of the coast.
Selwo Aventura
Selwo Wildlife Park in Estepona will be welcoming all visitors with a royal page riding a camel! As with the other parks, all well-behaved children will receive a season pass to use in 2015.
If you’ve yet to visit Selwo Aventura, we highly recommend it! You’ll meet exotic animals from Africa, Asia and the Americas and will be able to take part in fun and interactive games and activities conducted by the park keepers.
Keep in mind that you don’t actually have to go into the parks to receive the kids season tickets. Santa Claus, the elves and the royal page will be located at the entrance of each of the parks :-).
Who’s up for a little adventure?
