On Friday 16th March, Sunset Beach Club’s Moonlight Theatre will host a fantastic musical show: Stars of the West End.
This unique show is a celebration of the best of the world of musicals and features three principal performers from leading West End musicals. The evening will include a selection of songs from London West End’s most popular musicals and well as from shows the performers have starred in. You’ll enjoy songs from Jesus Christ Superstar, West Side Story, Wicked, Chicago, Oliver, Evita and more!
This is actually the second time the Stars of the West End show has been on the Coast. Last year’s venues quickly sold out and the show’s promoters( Big M Promotions) are hoping for a great response again for this event.
Here’s a quick bio for the stars of this show:
- Mike Sterling has starred in major hit musicals and is most famous for his interpretation of ‘The Phantom’ in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s ‘The Phantom of the Opera’ and ‘Jean Valjean’ in Cameron Mackintosh’s ‘Les Misérables’.
- Lucy van Gasse’s theatre credits include Glinda (standby) in Wicked, Eileen in Wonderful Town, Baroness Elsa Shreader in The Sound of Music, Christine Daae/Ensemble in Love Never Dies and Lead Soprano in Putting on the Ritz.
- Kate Galston’s first performance was ‘Annie’ at the age of 10 at the Liverpool Empire. She’s since played Dorothy in Wiz, Roxie Hart in Chicago, The Cat in Sir Peter Maxwell Davis’s ‘Cinderella’, The Royal Gala Performance of ‘Jesus Christ Superstar’ and Donna in the UK tour of Mamma Mia.
Tickets are available at the Sunset Beach Club leisure desk located on the 6th floor of the hotel. Tickets are priced at €22 if you purchase in advance or €25 on the day.
