We can finally enjoy ice skating in Benalmadena again!
At the end of October, the new Palacio de Deportes (former Ice Club) opened to the public with great facilities, including a magnificent 600 square metre ice rink.
It’s the only ice rink in Andalusia and will undoubtedly become a major visitor attraction for Benalmadena as it offers a unique sporting activity which will be available all year round.
Those in charge of the ‘new’ ice rink want to expand free-skating sessions with other activities such as school trips and birthday parties.
Ice skating enthusiasts will also be able to have general private lessons, figure skating lessons or ice hockey lessons.
Opening times and prices of the free-skating sessions are as follows:

Celebrate your little one’s birthday at the ice rink
The ice rink is a great option to celebrate birthdays. Here’s what the birthday parties include…
- 2.5 hour sessions
- Groups must be a minimum of 8 guests
- There are 3 options: Polar Bear (€11.50), Penguin (€14.50) and Yeti (€16)
- All the above offer 30 minutes with an instructor on the rink, 1.5 hours of free skating and skate and helmet rental.
- For food and drink options you will have to choose the Penguin or Yeti package.
- At the end of the birthday, 2×1 invitations are given to all guests.
There is also a fantastic program for schools (groups of at least 20 students) from €6.50 per student for two hours of skating.
