We’ve had a busy winter refurbishing and re-designing our hotel entrance, reception and Oasis Restaurant but we’re delighted to announce that these key areas of the hotel are now ready.
What better way to show off the stunning results than with some photos? Below we’ve detailed the work that has been done in each area and the impressive results you’ll be able to enjoy the next time you visit Sunset Beach Club.
Making your way around all the museums, galleries and other “must-see” tourist attractions which the Costa del Sol’s capital has to offer can get rather expensive. But don’t worry. Malaga town hall offers a ‘Malaga Pass Card’ which helps tourists gain access to the city’s best attractions and monuments.
We’re going to tell you all about this nifty little card called a ‘Malaga Pass’ which will come in handy if you’re planning on visiting many of the city’s museums and attractions.
Have you ever considered the possibility of working remotely from abroad?
Over the past few years, remote working has been postulated as the salvation of many workers, entrepreneurs and digital nomads. It is, without a doubt, an excellent option for a better work-life balance and in many cases can be much more productive.
At Sunset Beach Club we have the ideal facilities for you to set up a great office with breathtaking views. Our winter rates offer particularly good value for money. It may be the perfect place to find the inspiration and creativity you are looking for.
The Costa del Sol is known for its wide choice of street markets – or flea markets, as they are sometimes referred to. As visiting these markets seems to be on most of our guest’s to-do lists, we thought we’d put together a short and concise guide featuring the most popular markets along the coast (You’ll find a link to download a printable version at the end of this post).
Many of the local street markets combine flea markets and boot sales, so for the sake of this guide, we’ll just refer to all as street markets. Although we haven’t included all the markets which take place throughout the week, we have tried to add all the ones that we’ve actually been to and that our guests have recommended.
On the 24th February 2023, our neighbouring town of Fuengirola kicks off the 13th edition of the “Ruta de la Tapa Erótica” (Erotic Tapas Route), a fun and original idea which, since the first edition, has become a reference all over Spain.
It’s been a couple of years since Fuengirola last hosted this Tapas Route and we’re looking forward to enjoying some interesting and creative tapas over the next few weeks.
Up until the 13th March, visitors to Fuengirola will be able to enjoy this traditional Spanish snack, with a slightly “spicy” touch. All establishments that take part, will prepare a sensual and fun tapa, with creativity and flair being the main ingredients. Some of the participating establishments will also be offering special ‘gluten-free’, sweet or vegetarian tapas.
Anyone who visits one of the participating restaurants or bars will be able to sample one of these “erotic” tapas and a cool beer (or glass of wine) for a – very reasonable – €3.50. If you choose one of the sweet dessert tapas available in some establishments, you can choose to accompany it with a coffee, tea or sweet wine.
