A – Aqualand

B –Butterfly Park

Visit Europe’s largest Butterfly exhibition where you’ll be able to see more than 150 species of butterflies. You can read more about the Benalmadena Butterfly Park on our blog.

C – Cable Car Ride to the Top of Benalmadena

If you don’t mind heights, this is a definite must! A 15-minute ride to the top of the Calamorro Mountain behind Benalmadena for some of the most amazing views. Make sure you also watch the amazing birds of prey show!

Dinosaurs Tour in Málaga: See Life-Sized Animated Dinosaurs

Jurassic Expo in MalagaIf you’re planning on visiting the Costa del Sol over the next few weeks and you have kids (or are interested in dinosaurs) you might want to pay a visit to the Dinosaurs Tour exhibition taking place in Málaga from the 20th May 2023 to the 4th June 2023.

Located in a large marquee in Malaga’s fairground (next to the Conference and Exhibition Centre) the Dinosaurs Tour exhibition will feature 22 life-size animatronic dinosaurs simulating the real-life movements and behaviours of these fascinating prehistoric creatures. You’ll come across all your favourite species of dinosaur including, Tyrannosaurus Rex, Protoceratops, Diplodocus and Triceratops! (more…)

Malaga International Kite Festival 2023: A Colorful Spectacle You Won’t Want to Miss

The skies of Malaga will be full of colour the weekend of the 29th & 30th April for the city’s first International Kite Festival.

This stunning visual spectacle will take place on the beaches of El Palo and Pedregalejo, on the eastern side of the city and promises to be a fun weekend for locals and visitors alike.

The event is completely free for spectators to enjoy – although you may wish to splash out on a few sardines and cold beers in one of the fabulous local ‘chiringuitos’ 😊. You’ll be treated to stunning displays from classic kite flyers as well as acrobatics, aerial tricks and impressive choreographies from renowned international kite flying artists.

Making your way around all the museums, galleries and other “must-see” tourist attractions which the Costa del Sol’s capital has to offer can get rather expensive. But don’t worry. Malaga town hall offers a ‘Malaga Pass Card’ which helps tourists gain access to the city’s best attractions and monuments.

We’re going to tell you all about this nifty little card called a ‘Malaga Pass’ which will come in handy if you’re planning on visiting many of the city’s museums and attractions.
