Christmas is just a week away and here in Benalmadena, we’re starting to get into the Christmas spirit. Starting tomorrow (18th December) you’ll be able to visit the traditional Christmas Market which takes place every year in Arroyo de la Miel’s ‘Pueblosol’ Square.
The market will be there until the 6th January 2016 so you’ve got a couple of weeks to stroll up there and enjoy the stalls and activities programmed over the festive period. (more…)
Malaga Christmas Lights in Calle Larios
Málaga city centre is famous for its’ stunning Christmas lights. Hundreds of thousands of people visit the city’s Calle Larios to see the spectacular lights, and every year, we’re treated to a more impressive display!
This year is no exception with the town hall spending a whopping 573,201 Euros on the lights! This might seem like a lot but when you see the amount of people who show up at 6:30pm every day to watch the lights be switched on, you begin to understand why. Sunset Beach Club participates in Over 50’s shows run by the same organisers in Dublin and Galway and we certainly recommend it to anyone looking to spend a fun and educational day out. A visit to Malaga’s city centre provides a multitude of interesting activities and attractions and, since last September, there’s a new attraction which will allow you to view the city’s beauty from a unique and privileged position: The Malaga Ferris Wheel!
