Here on the Costa del Sol we are fortunate to have a wonderful and varied choice of golf courses to play. Some require a buggy as they are located in and around the hills overlooking the coast, others are walking-friendly and are perfect for those of you who prefer to carry (or pull) your golf bag around 18 holes.

Great Value Dinners: New Early Bird Menu in our Oasis Restaurant

Early Bird Menu in the Oasis Restaurant, Sunset Beach ClubDuring the summer, we introduced our fantastic value lunch menus and the special paella offers, and the feedback from our guests was extremely positive; at 12€ for a 3 course meal, it’s no surprise that these menus were a great success! 

As we enter the Autumn and Winter seasons and the days become shorter, many of our guests, especially those from the northern hemisphere, enjoy having an early dinner in our restaurant. Mijas Celebrates its ‘Tourist Day’ with Flamenco & Free Wine!

The Summer Season is almost at an end and the small village of Mijas wants to celebrate in style by organising a large party in honour of the thousands of tourist who have visited them throughout the year; it’s their particular way of saying thank you!

Mijas’ Tourist Day – a celebration which has been going for more than 10 years – will take place next Wednesday 17th September from midday in the town’s ‘Virgen de la Peña’ square. The town hall has prepared lots of fun activities to thank their visitors for their loyalty, including two fantastic flamenco shows by Flamenco Group ‘Jaleo’ and the ‘Zambra’ Spanish Ballet.

All that singing, dancing and music wouldn’t be the same without some tasty thrist quenching  wine. And that’s just what the organisers have arranged… lots of free wine will be served to visitors throughout the afternoon!

Colin Fry Returns to the Costa del Sol with His New Show, The Voices from Heaven

Colin Fry Show at Sunset Beach Club, BenalmadenaColin Fry, one of the world’s most recognised spiritualist mediums and healers will be performing at Sunset Beach Club, Benalmádena, on the 9th October 2014. 

‘The Voices from Heaven’ show is the medium’s first on the Costa del Sol since 2007. Thanks to the worldwide popularity of his TV shows, this is sure to be a great success with many local residents and hotel guests attending. We’re expecting a full house on the 9th October 🙂 (more…)

The white village of Guaro is set to become the focal point of Andalusi music and culture over the next two weekends (5th & 6th September and 12th & 13th September) with the celebration of the 18th edition if its ‘Luna Mora’ Festival. 

Once again, the streets of Guaro will glow to the light of 25,000 candles distributed throughout the town creating a mysterious and magical ambience. One of the festivals main attractions is the Arab Market which will open daily on the streets if the town centre. The market stalls will be filled with hand made products such as gifts, leather goods and delicious food! (more…)
