If you’re looking for a fun and very healthy activity next time you come to Benalmadena on holiday, we highly recommend renting a bicycle and exploring some of the town’s main attractions whilst reaping the health benefits of this fun mode of transport.
The area offers something for all levels. Beginners and leisure riders can enjoy the relative flatness of the stunning promenade. More experienced riders or a beginners with hybrid bikes, who are looking for more of a challenge can head into the hills behind Benalmadena and attempt one of the harder bike routes (see below) which will take them along narrow mountain paths offering stunning views of the coast. The city of Malaga is getting ready to host, for the 4th year running, a fabulous series of summer evening concerts. This latest edition, of what has become a consolidated event in the city’s summer events calendar, will delight spectators with a series of free music concerts to be held in the Gibralfaro Castle and the Alcazaba fortress.
The Malaga Philharmonic Orchestra, musical ‘ensemble’, ‘Músicos Concerto Málaga, Duo del Valle, The Insostenible Big Band, Coral Cármina Nova and Música Prima, will be performing in two of Malaga’s most iconic land marks. (more…)

Malaga Christmas Lights in Calle Larios
Málaga city centre is famous for its’ stunning Christmas lights. Hundreds of thousands of people visit the city’s Calle Larios to see the spectacular lights, and every year, we’re treated to a more impressive display!
This year is no exception with the town hall spending a whopping 573,201 Euros on the lights! This might seem like a lot but when you see the amount of people who show up at 6:30pm every day to watch the lights be switched on, you begin to understand why. Business is booming and the city has a real Christmassy feel to it. (more…)
