It’s been a busy year of Weddings for us here at Sunset Beach Club with 64 couples choosing to celebrate their big day with us.
The majority of these couples flew in from the UK and Ireland taking advantage of our fantastic room rates and great value wedding packages which make getting married in Spain a truly viable option for many couples dreaming of an overseas wedding.
Brides and Grooms to be can relax in the knowledge that all the details of their special day will be taken care of by our wedding coordinators and planners. From help with all the legal paperwork to organising the flowers, cake, music and entertainment, our team handles it all! (more…)

September is a busy month for the wedding and banquets team here at Sunset Beach Club. With the stifling temperatures of August behind us, the milder (but still warm) weather makes it an ideal time of year to get married in Spain. It’s also a very busy month for wedding shows and exhibitions in Dublin, Ireland.
So that’s precisely where the Sunset Beach Club Weddings Team are off to this weekend, and again at the end of the month.
Dublin hosts two of the biggest wedding shows in Ireland this month: The Wedding & Honeymoon Show at the RDS this weekend (5th & 6th of September) and the Wedding Journal Show at City West at the end of the month (27th & 28th September). (more…)

With the Christmas and holiday period over, it’s time to get back to your wedding preparations. Here at Sunset Beach Club we’re off to a flying (literally) start as we head to the Wedding Journal Show at the Citywest Complex in Dublin.
If you are in the process of planning your big day – and you live near Dublin – then this show is a must-visit. We’ll have our own stand (nº C5) which will be manned by our knowledgeable wedding team staff. For those of you thinking of getting married in Spain, Melissa, one of our wedding planners, will be available to answer any questions or queries you may have. Wedding photos come in all shapes and sizes. You’ve got the masterpieces created by the official wedding photographer Elizabeth M and then there are the hundreds of photos taken by all the guests who attend.
Many couples use the traditional method of placing disposable cameras on all the tables in an attempt to encourage their guests to capture all those special moments. Unfortunately, this isn’t always a great alternative; it can be expensive if you have a big wedding, the analog quality of these photos is often disappointing and then you have to try and collect all the cameras and find a way of sharing all the photos with your guests!
And what about all the photos taken by guests with their own digital cameras or latest smartphone? How on earth do you collect all these photos into one place? Some will email them to you, others will send you a CD, there’s Facebook, Instagram and numerous photos sharing websites with complicated login procedures… Not a fun task! (more…)

With the Christmas celebrations over and a brand New Year to look forward to, we’re getting ready for a mad couple of months ‘on the road’ attending a whole hoast of trade shows and events.
The fun begins this weekend as our wedding team heads off to Dublin for the Wedding Journal Show at City West in Dublin. Regarded as one of the best Wedding Shows in Ireland this event starts on Friday 11th January 2013 and remains open until Sunday 13th January.
This year’s show will have 300 exhibitors under one roof, making the planning of your special day a little less stressful 🙂 Here’s a taste of what you’ll find at the show: Reception Venues (Sunset Beach Club included), Wedding cake suppliers, wedding dresses, cars, entertainment, photographers… everything you could think of to celebrate a wonderful wedding.
If you are planning your wedding day and getting married in Spain is an option that interests you, then feel free to stop by our stand (G7) where Inma (Wedding dept) and Melissa (Wedding Planner) will be able to answer all your questions and queries.
