Next Tuesday evening (4th October 2011) we’ve got a fantastic evening of entertainment in our Moonlight Theatre.,Martin Minor Entertainment are organising the show and have prepared a top class line up of tribute acts which are sure to delight all who attend.
Two of the acts – Take That and Westlife – have been performing all summer at Sunset Beach Club and the guest feedback has been fantastic. Who knows, some of the acts featured on Tuesday evening might become regulars for next seasons musical shows at the Moonlight!

Great news for all Buddy Holly Fans on theCosta del Sol! Our friends at Active Sound Productions have organised a great evening of the best Rock n’ Roll with the “Buddy Holly Show” which will take place at Sunset Beach Club’s Moonlight Theatre in Benalmadena.
Performing as Buddy Holly in this fantastic tribute show will be Buddy Walker; many of you may recognise the name… he was the winner of “Stars in Their Eyes” with his amazing performance as rock n’ roll pioneer, Buddy Holly.
Entrance tickets are only €5 (+ service charges) and can be bought at the door on the evening of the show.
The programme for the evening is as follows:
10:00 pm : Music with DJ Tall Mike
10:30 pm : Buddy Walker and his Buddy Holly Tribute Show
11:30 pm : Music and dancing with DJ Tall Mike

If you’ve stayed with us during these summer months, you will undoubtedly have had a chance to watch some of the fantastic shows at our Moonlight Theatre which have been a great hit this season. Some of these shows are high quality acts brought in specially and some are fantastic tribute shows produced in house by our entertainment team; this year, they’ve prepared tributes to two fantastic musicals: The Lion King and We Will Rock You!
The work that goes into the preparation of these shows is unbelievable; you only have to take a look at the costumes and choreography to see that this is no mere improvised show, the team went through hours of gruelling rehearsals to ensure that guests get to watch a top quality show, week in and week out.
If you haven’t had a chance to watch them yet, you’ll need to hurry as they are only going to be performed until the end of August! Join Rocio and her talented team as they bring you their impressive versions of two of theWest End’s biggest hits.

Yesterday afternoon, I managed to creep into the Moonlight theatre and watch the last dress rehearsal before tonight’s debut performance of “The Lion King”.
Our entertainment team have been working hard – often rehearsing for hours after work – to prepare this fantastic tribute to the West End classic. I took loads of photos, many of which are in the gallery below; as you can see, the team really worked hard on the costumes and I am sure you’ll agree that they’ve done a brilliant job! It’s obviously going to be a popular show with the little ones but I highly recommend at to everyone as the music, dancing, costumes and spectacular lighting are really impressive! (more…)
James Bond fans, or to be more precise, fans of the music from James Bond films, are in for a real treat this weekend. On Saturday evening (28th May) Trevor Brooks and his team at Entertain in Spain will be presenting their latest production which pays tribute to songs from all the favourite James Bond films.
Entertain in Spain put on two shows last year in our Moonlight Theatre and both were extremely popular: The “Back to the 40’s” show and “The Christmas Show”. This new show will be no exception with its state of the art visual effects and video, as well as some of the Coast’s most talented singers and performers.
The show starts at 8:30pm (we recommend you get there early to get a good seat) Tickets are 15€ for adults and 10€ for children and can be purchased at the Sunset Beach Club Leisure Desk or online at www.entertaininspain.es.
Guests who visited Sunset Beach Club last year would have had the chance to experience an evening of magic and illusions at our Moonlight Bar. Every week, the “Urban Magic Show” delighted kids and parents alike.
Well, we’ve got good news for you: This year, Jose Manuel (AKA Jose 13) is back with a new show full of new tricks, illusions and pure magic! Imagine (Name of the new show) has been designed to be highly interactive, aiming to keep the audience involved and on their toes at all times; definitely a fun evening for all the family!
“Imagine” is a free show for all guests of the hotel – non residents are welcome, but will have to pay a small entrance fee – and starts at 10:30pm every Thursday evening.
