The Torremolinos Oktoberfest: From the 20th to 23rd October
Our neighbours in Torremolinos will be celebrating the second edition of their ‘Oktoberfest’ beer festival from Thursday 20th October to Sunday 23rd October.
The event will be held in a large thousand square metre marquee located in ‘Plaza de la Nogalera’ and will be open to the public from 12pm til late every day. Visitors will be able to sample some of the World’s best beers as this year’s festival will have a special bar serving beers from all over the world including those made from wheat and barley, black beers and other select flavours. Another highlight this year will be the ‘Jägermeister’ tap serving shots of the famous herbal liqueur at -10ºC! (more…)
Beer lovers rejoice! From the 17th to 19th June you’ll be able to enjoy your favourite drink at a new event which will be held at the Palacio de Congresos y Exposiciones in Torremolinos: The Beerfest Costa del Sol, 1st International Beer Fair. 
The summer season is almost upon us and we’ve been busy putting the finishing touches to our fun-packed activities and entertainment programme which officially started on the 1st June.
For the last two years, Sunset Beach Club hotel – and guests who visit – have been actively supporting three children’s charities: The Butterfly Children Charity (Debra Spain) which helps children with EB, a condition which makes skin as fragile as a butterfly wing; Make-a-Wish Spain which grants magical wishes to children fighting life threatening medical conditions and Barretstown, a unique camp that provides medically endorsed residential programmes of therapeutic recreation for children with cancer and other serious illnesses. 
Next Sunday the 3rd April Benalmádena celebrates its first official ‘Holi Festival of Colours’, the famous and colourful Hindu festivity which welcomes spring.
