Every summer we put together a list of the best live concerts on the Costa del Sol. We know that many of you enjoy attending live concerts whilst you are here on holiday and this guide will hopefully prove useful in identifying live performances you’d like to attend.
Last years line up of world famous artists visiting the Costa del Sol to perform their greatest hits was pretty impressive; however, this year looks to be even better. The following are just some of the big names performing during the months of July and August: Ricky Martin, The Beach Boys, Pet Shop Boys, Julio Iglesias, Chicago, Tom Jones, David Guetta… and the list goes on!
As was the case last summer, many of the top stars will be performing at the Starlite Festival, which takes place from the 23rd July to the 22nd August in Marbella’s breathtaking Nagueles quarry.
Another of the great venues this year is the Sohail Castle in Fuengirola which will see the likes of Chicago and Ian Anderson’s Jethro Tull pass through its gates.
Below is a list – in date order – of some of the best live concerts on the Costa del Sol this summer. We’ve included an indication of ticket prices but please bear in mind that these could change as availability is reduced. (more…)

With less than a week to go until the ‘official’ start of the summer, we’re busy putting the final touches to our fun packed entertainment and activities programme which we’re sure you’ll love.
Those of you who have stayed with us before will already know that our daily activities programme is divided into 3 age groups: Kids (from 5 to 12 years), Teenagers (13 to 18 years) and Adults.

We are delighted to once again host the Spanish Cancer Association’s (AECC) traditional summer gala dinner. The event will take place on the terrace of our Oasis Restaurant this Saturday the 14th June at 9:00pm.
Once again, the AECC have organised a fantastic evening which includes a drinks reception by the main pool, followed by a mouth watering 3 course dinner and live music on the terrace of the Oasis Restaurant. (more…)

Next month – from the 4th to the 6th of July – the stunning white village of Mijas will host the 8th edition of its popular International Blues Festival. An impressive line up of free concerts awaits blues fans with veteran artists such as Jimmy Thomas, Bob Margolin, John Primer, West Weston, Jerimiah Marques and Bob Stroger taking part in the weekend’s festivities. Arroyo de la Miel and Benalmadena Costa are getting ready to celebrate the 7th edition of their annual Tapas Route (Ruta de la Tapa), a gastronomic event which helps promote the town’s culinary culture as well as its establishments.
The route takes place from the 29th May to the 8th June and will have 40 participating bars and restaurants offering mouth-watering tapas for just 2.5€, drink included! (more…)

The ‘Feria Internacional de los Pueblos’ (International People’s Fair) in Fuengirola takes place from the 30th April to the 4th May (2014), making good use of the long May bank holiday weekend – or ‘Puente’, as it is known here.
This colourful celebration has become one of the city’s main tourist attractions – and one of the most popular – with a million yearly visitors. As in previous years, 33 countries and regions from all over the world will take part in the festivities by showing off the best of their gastronomy, traditional products, music and folklore.
