From the 28th November, until 9th December, fast-food lovers, specifically those who enjoy a good burger, can enjoy ‘The Champions Burger’, a gastronomic festival which after the success of last year’s edition is coming back to Malaga and will be held next to the Cruise Terminal in Malaga Port.
It’s going to be a little different this year as it’s a special edition dedicated exclusively to finding the best ‘Smash Burger’ in Spain. If you’re a fan of this latest craze in the world of Hamburgers, you wont want to miss the opportunity to try some of the best in Spain.
If you’re planning on going in to Malaga to try one of these delicious ‘Smash Burgers’, you’ll also have the chance to vote for your favourite using the QR code you’ll find on your burger receipt. When you cast your vote you’ll be automatically entered into a draw to win fantastic prizes relating to the event, including a stunning Ford Ranger pickup truck.
20 different Hamburgers are participating in the event. You’ll find all sorts of burgers… from the classic style to unique and innovative creations, and of course, all prepared with top-quality cuts of meat.
Five of the burger restaurants taking part are actually from Malaga… Dak Burger, Gottan Grill, GOAT, The Gallery and Zamppa Street Food all aspire to winning the grand prize of Spain’s best ‘Smash Burger’.
All participating burgers will be priced at € 12.50. If you fancy a side order of fries, that’ll set you back another 4€.
Vegetarians and celiacs can also enjoy special burgers served in some food trucks. There will also be special areas for kid’s activities as well as additional attractions such as a photo booth and jugglers.
The entrance to the event is free and the timetable is as follows:
Monday to Thursday: 18:00h to 00:00h
Friday to Sunday: 12:00h to 00:00h
