With just a few weeks to go until Christmas, Benalmádena is getting into the Christmas spirit by celebrating the 14th edition of the International Christmas Festival.
On the 1st, 2nd and 3rd of December you can visit Plaza Adolfo Suarez (it was Plaza Mezquita last year but they’ve changed to this new location this year) from 12:00pm to midnight (until 8:00pm on Sunday 3rd December) and enjoy the festive customs, musical shows, exquisite gastronomy and typical products and crafts from all the participating countries.
This 3-day celebration allows visitors and locals to celebrate the most international of Christmases as there will be more than fifteen participating countries this year. You’ll experience the cultural diversity and Christmas spirit from all parts of the globe by simply visiting Plaza Adolfo Suarez during the Festival.
Each year the International Christmas Festival has grown in popularity, so much so that what was originally a one-day event has been extended to three days full of festive fun!
The following are the countries participating in this year’s event: Argentina, Chile, Venezuela, Belgium, Germany, Colombia, France, Turkey, Mexico, United States, Scotland, Cuba, Ukraine, Finland, Norway and Poland.
There are lots of shows and acts planned throughout the weekend including a visit from Santa Claus (exact date and time to be confirmed). For a complete programme, we recommend you visit the official Facebook page for the event HERE.
And here’s a promo video from a couple of years ago to give you an idea of what to expect…
Looks like fun doesn’t it? What shows are you going to go and watch?
