It’s official, Malaga is now the first city in the world (outside of France) to house a ‘Pop-up’ Pompidou art centre.
This new Contemporary art museum is located within the famous ‘Cube’ structure in Malaga’s Muelle Uno waterfront. Considering the number of visitors passing through its doors during the opening weekend – more than 6000 people – the museum’s success is practically guaranteed.
The new Pompidou Centre offers a unique itinerary which takes visitors on a voyage of discovery through art of the 20th and 21st century. Approximately 90 works of art, selected from the Pompidou Centre’s outstanding collection, line the walls and halls of ‘The Cube’. (more…)

It’s been described as the world’s scariest – and until recently – most dangerous walkway in the world and it’s reopening to the public on the 28th March 2015. We are, of course, talking about the Caminito del Rey (King’s Walkway) situated in the Gaitanes Gorge, about 1 hour north of Benalmádena.

The 100 year old path was in a precarious condition and local authorities decided to close it after a series of fatal accidents. Although officially closed, it’s remained a favourite attraction for thrill seekers and adrenaline junkies looking for the ultimate experience (see video below for proof!). (more…)

Puerto Marina, Benalmadena
