Once again, our animation team will be organising lots of fun activities for kids and adults. Next week sees the start of the 6th edition of Benalmadena Town’s popular Tapas Route. From the 18th to the 27th October, many of the Benalmadena’s bars and restaurants will take part in this gastronomic event which every year produces some mouth-watering creations!
The establishments which take part in the Tapas Route will have to prepare a special tapa designed only for this event. This way visitors will be able to make their way around the town following the ‘route’ and trying a different and unique tapa in each bar and restaurant; just make sure they are officially taking part in the event. Sunset Beach Club is delighted to be hosting another edition of ‘Costa del Soul’, a week long soul music event featuring some of the top DJ’s from the UK. This will be the 7th year that Costa del Soul comes to Sunset Beach Club and judging by the bookings already made, this is going to be the most popular edition to date!

The first fortnight in October marks an important event in Fuengirola’s calendar: The ‘Feria del Rosario’ in honour of the town’s patron.
For the next week, trips to Fuengirola will include a compulsory visit to the town’s main fairground for a fun and entertaining introduction to true andalucian ‘feria’ culture. Lots of flamenco – music and dancing – great food, wines, sherry, shows, parades and lots more await! (more…)

Keeping warm with the thermal capes...
They say it’s “The Coolest Place in Spain”, literally! With temperatures inside its frozen walls reaching a chilling -14ºC Boal’s Ice Bar in Benalmadena Marina is actually Spain’s first ice bar and an extremely popular destination for tourists and locals looking for a fun and unique experience.
Everything in the bar is made of ice: The walls, the bar, the seats, the sculptures and even some of the glasses (the ones used for shots) are made of ice! Monet's 'Marea Baja' in Varengeville
This Autumn, Malaga will once again become a haven for art lovers and tourists looking for an enriching cultural experience. Three of the city’s most popular museums have interesting exhibitions planned over the next few months.
Perhaps the most exciting of these exhibitions takes place at Malaga’s Thyssen Museum. Over 50 works will focus on landscapes around Europe, all hand-chosen by owner Baroness Thyssen. The exhibition will feature paintings which span the 19th and 20th centuries, including works from Leger, Courbet, Van Gogh and Monet. (more…)

This Thursday sees the start of the Feria de San Miguel in Torremolinos; from the 26th to the 29th September our neighbouring town will be in full festive mode to celebrate the most important date on their calendar.
