Benalmadena offers much more than a summer holiday fueled by sun, sea and sangria.
To be honest, we’re a little baffled as to why our amazing city doesn’t get busier in the Winter; But that may just be what makes it so appealing to visit in the quieter months (November, December, January and February)!
The important thing to keep in mind is that, although temperatures are considerably lower than during the summer months – and that’s not necessarily a bad thing – the sun shines practically every day. Don’t forget we’re privileged to get more than 320 days of sunshine per year here on the Costa del Sol!
Whilst there are many things to do in Benalmadena in Winter, we’ve summarised some of our favourites for you.
On Friday 22nd September the Coast’s top musicians and entertainers will be performing in the 3rd edition of the Daphonbury Festival, an amazing event to raise funds for Bowel Cancer UK.
This live music festival takes place in our Moonlight Bar and has been organised by Tony Whitehouse, (many of you will know Tony as he has performed at Sunset Beach on many occasions as a key member of Diverse, and their fantastic Tributes to Take That and Westlife).
Next week, our neighbours in Torremolinos celebrate their local festivities in honour of their patron saint. The ‘Feria de San Miguel’ is their biggest event of the year and offers 4 days (from 27th September to 1st October) of fun and entertainment to all who visit the town.
There’s lots going on over the course of these 4 days and below we’ve put together 4 reasons why we think you should visit the Torremolinos fair next weekend. It’s a great opportunity to experience true Spanish culture and have a blast! 🙂
