With more and more electric vehicles on the road and a distinct lack of charging stations, we’ve decided to install our very own in the hotel’s underground garage (we’ll be installing them in the outside parking too).
Guests with electric vehicles will now be able to easily charge them at one of the ‘Activacharge’ stations in our garage. Easy overnight charging means their cars will be fully topped up in the morning so they can explore the Costa del Sol without worrying about having to find somewhere to charge their vehicle.
The charging stations are installed and run by a company called Activacharge. The process for recharging your vehicle couldn’t be more straightforward (See image below)
- Download the Activacharge app (just scan the QR code to access it)
- Once downloaded just follow the simple instructions to activate the charge.
- You can establish a time limit for charging or just let it charge until the battery is 100% full – it’ll stop charging automatically.
The price to recharge your vehicle is 0.35 cents per KW/h; the final amount will depend on the type of vehicle and how empty the battery is. The average price for a full charge (4 or 5 hours) will be approximately €15.
