C – Cable Car Ride to the Top of Benalmadena
If you don’t mind heights, this is a definite must! A 15-minute ride to the top of the Calamorro Mountain behind Benalmadena for some of the most amazing views. Make sure you also watch the amazing birds of prey show!

Next Wednesday the 26th December 2012 sees the start of MIMA 2012, a special event created especially for children which is sure to keep the little ones amused over the Christmas Holidays.
For 10 days (until the 4th January 2013) the Palacio de Ferias y Congresos in Málaga will become a true ‘Kids Paradise’, a fun fair tailor made to keep kids and parents amused for hours!
Below the high ceilings of the ‘Palacio de Congresos’ an 8000 m2 area will offer a whole range of experiences (over 60) which combine entertainment, fun, sport, shows and education.

The Views towards Málaga from the top of Benalmadena
Now, I have to admit that I am not fond of heights; actually, I’m terrified of them. So when my wife suggested we take our twin daughters on a cable car ride to the top of Calamorro Mountain behind Benalmádena, you can imagine my reaction!
We always try and make the most of our weekends together and take the girls on little “adventures” and as the weather was gorgeous, I – reluctantly – agreed to give it a go.
Working at Sunset Beach Club, I’ve often spoken to guests and colleagues who raved about their trip up to the top of Benalmádena on the cable car; this was the perfect opportunity to see what all the fuss was about.
The cable car sets off from Tivoli World (it’s actually just beside it). Pricing might seem a little steep, especially if there are 4 of you; however, it’s well worth it! These are the rates: (more…)
There’s a new and somewhat different event for you this weekend… activities and entertainment which are sure to thrill children and adults alike: The Sailor’s Market in Benalmadena Marina!
This is the first the Sailor’s Market (Mercado Marinero) is being held in Benalmadena and promises fun and laughter for all who visit over the weekend.
