This weekend our wedding coordinator, Claire, is off to Glasgow for the Scottish Wedding Show. This is the first time we have a stand at this show and we’re looking forward to meeting lots of brides and grooms thinking about getting married in Spain.

The Scottish Wedding Show takes place at the SECC (Scottish Exhibition & Conference Centre) on the 21st & 22nd February.
Here are some of the highlights of the show:
- Scotland’s largest Catwalk Fashion Show – Produce by acclaimed Scottish arts director, Mutley of SWG3, the show will feature the largest bridal collection in Scotland as well as outfits for Grooms, mother’s of the Bride/Groom and Bridesmaids. Performances take place at 11:30am, 1:00pm and 3:00pm each day.
- Afternoon Tea Room – Taster menu including sandwiches, scones and mini cakes for just £9.95!
- VIP Area – VIP tickets will earn you fast track entry to the show, preferential seating for the Catwalk Fashion Show and entry to the VIP Lounge where you’ll enjoy a glass or bubbly and other goodies.
- Cocktail Bar – Where you’ll be able to try a bespoke cocktail made specially for the show.
- Beauty Zone – Visit the beauty zone where hair and make-up artists will be on hand to offer a selection of beauty treatments. Make sure you get there early because it’s going to get busy!
- What Every Bride Needs to Know – Hosted by Jane Dayus-Hinch, one of the world’s premier wedding planners, this brand new feature of the Scottish Wedding Show will give you the opportunity to join various discussions, including the symbolism and meaning of the ceremony of cutting the wedding cake.
As is customary at this type of event, the organisers are giving the attendees the chance to win a fabulous prize… This year you could win Jane Dayus-Hinch as your wedding planner! To enter, just fill in the entry form you can get on arrival and post it in the entry box at the competition desk.

- Saturday 21st February 2015: 10am to 5pm
- Sunday 22nd February 2015: 11am to 5pm
