St. Patrick’s day is just around the corner and Benalmadena is gearing itself up for a great day of celebrations!
The Irish Association of Spain has organised a fantastic day to commemorate this popular festivity. It’s important to note that this year, the traditional mass has been changed to the Virgen del Carmen church in Benalmádena and will begin at 1pm.
After mass, the traditional parade will head down to the Feria ground behind Paloma Park for an afternoon of singing, dancing, drinking and all-round fun! From 2:15pm to 5:30pm you’ll be treated to a whole host of acts including Irish musicians and dance groups brought over from Ireland especially for the occasion. There will also be prizes awarded for the best dressed!
After the fun at the Feria ground, celebrations will continue at different locations around Benalmadena. At Sunset Beach Club, we’ll be celebrating in style in the Panorama Bar; Happy Hour from 6:30pm to 7:30pm will be a favourite with free canapés and fun giveaways.
After a few drinks in the Panorama Bar, we recommend you visit the Oasis Restaurant on the 1st floor and indulge in a delicious meal and some great live music entertainment.
