Tomorrow sees the start of the 7th edition of Benalmadena’s Film Tapas Route. From the 27th of October to the 5th of November we’ll be able to enjoy this unique tribute to the world of film as it also coincides with the Benalmadena Film Festival (FICCAB).
Featuring short films from all over the world, this festival is the perfect occasion to introduce our mouth-watering local gastronomy through this unique medium: the Film Tapas Route.
This year the Route will have 31 participating establishments (see full list below) which will be offering a tapa and glass of beer – or wine – for just €3. Each one of these delicious tapas will be based on a film theme featuring names of famous films or series.
For the next 10 days, Benalmadena locals and visitors will be able to sample gorgeous tapas expertly made in some of the top bars and restaurants our amazing city has to offer. They’ll also be able to obtain special ‘passports’ created specifically for the occasion and which will include a QR code that can be scanned to see the exact location of all participating bars and restaurants. At the same time, they’ll have the opportunity to become judges for the contest by voting for their favourite tapa. By getting 9 stamps, 3 from each area of Benalmadena, participants will also be entered into a prize draw. The establishment with the most votes will be awarded a 450€ prize!
