The white village of Guaro is set to become the focal point of Andalusi music and culture over the next two weekends (5th & 6th September and 12th & 13th September) with the celebration of the 18th edition if its ‘Luna Mora’ Festival.
Once again, the streets of Guaro will glow to the light of 25,000 candles distributed throughout the town creating a mysterious and magical ambience. One of the festivals main attractions is the Arab Market which will open daily on the streets if the town centre. The market stalls will be filled with hand made products such as gifts, leather goods and delicious food!
The official programme of events includes more than 40 activities including the following:
- Concerts
- Candle drawing workshops
- Street performers
- Children’s magic show
- Storytelling
- Games workshops
- Children’s dance workshop
- Natural Henna workshop for adults
During the festival, the town’s main auditorium will also host concerts featuring top Spanish artists.

Saturday 13th September: Pasión Vega & Dúo del Valle
All concerts start at 11:00pm and prices range from 20€ to 50€.
