On Saturday 2nd May, Benalmadena Marina invites you to take a stunning voyage around the world in just one afternoon and get to know international cultures through their dances and traditions.
Named ‘Danzas del Mar’ (Dances of the Seas) this new event is the latest in a series of initiatives which form part of the local government’s plan to breath new life to the Marina and create a truly unique leisure and entertainment offering to all who visit.
You’ll be able to enjoy all types of traditional dance styles including: Oriental dance, African dance, Brazilian Samba, street dance, belly dancing, Spanish dance and even fire dancing! It really will be a fun afternoon full of music, colour and happiness which will take you to the most exotic and unique countries in the world. In addition to the dancing, you’ll also be able to take part in classes and workshops or watch the street performer’s parade and animation for the little ones.
All shows take place from 12:00pm to 2:00pm and 5:00pm to 7:00pm. Here’s the full programme so that you can plan out your afternoon:
At 12:00pm and 5:30pm: Street parade in the Paseo de las Estrellas.
At 12:40pm and 6:10pm: Fire-eating Fakir on the performance stage (Just behing the Marina Shopping Centre.)
At 1:00pm and 6:30pm: Oriental Dance in the Teatro de Levante.
At 1:20pm and 6:50pm: African Dance in the Teatro de Levante.
At 1:40pm and 7:10pm: Brazilian Samba in the Teatro de Levante.
