Transfer Options

There are several ways to get to Sunset Beach Club from Málaga Airport. The quickest is by taxi or pre-booked transfer, which takes 15-20 minutes. Train plus bus or car hire options are also available. Please find details below.

Taxi

The quickest and most convenient way to get to Sunset Beach Club from the airport is by taxi.  There is usually a surplus of taxis waiting in the taxi rank just outside the arrivals hall.

The cost is approximately 30-35€ one way.  It is normal for surcharges to apply for luggage, on Sundays and public holidays, and also for late night rides.

Private Car/Minibus Transfers

You can book convenient Airport transfers from Malaga airport online with Autosol - private cars/minibuses up to 8 persons. 

Trains

There is a train station at Malaga airport approximately 5-minute walk from the arrivals hall. 
The train station nearest the hotel is Arroyo de la Miel. Take the train towards Fuengirola, which leaves from Malaga airport approximately every 20-30 minutes (seasonal timetables vary, but trains generally run from approx. 05.30h to 22.30h).  The journey to Arroyo de la Miel takes around 18 minutes and costs approximately 2€ per person.

From Arroyo de la Miel you have two choices. You can take the bus M-103 down to Sunset Beach Club, this costs approximately 1,60€-2€ per person, and takes around 15 minutes.  Depending on the time of day, the M-103 bus runs between every 15 to 40 minutes. 

Alternatively, a taxi from Arroyo de la Miel to Sunset Beach Club costs approximately €10 and takes 10 minutes.

Car Hire

At Sunset Beach Club, we offer a car hire reservations service.  Contact our leisure desk for bookings (leisure@sunsetbeachclub.com).  You collect the car from Málaga airport upon arrival, and also return it there when you leave, saving round trip taxis or train fares.
