We LOVE September
The September holiday experience at Sunset Beach Club is in many ways similar to the Summer months of July and August, but everything is toned down just a little.
The weather is still hot, but the searing heat of summer is behind us. The days are still long, but the ambience is a bit quieter as kids have already gone back to school in many countries. The temperature is perfect for a long lunch or al fresco dinner at the La Terraza restaurant. Our entertainment and activities continue through the month, including live music at La Terraza and free guest shows in the Moonlight Bar every night throughout the whole month of September.
Whether you are visiting us as a family wanting to make the most of the last days of Summer, or a group or friends or couples in search of a sunshine break, Sunset Beach Club is tailored for everyone to enjoy.
Great Value September room rates
One advantage of visiting Sunset Beach Club in September, is that rates are lower than the height of Summer. Our standard studio-apartments all include terrace with table & chairs and fully equipped kitchenette, perfect for couples or families. Choose between interior (no views), mountain views or prime (sea views).

La Terraza
The menu at La Terraza offers a wide choice of dishes for every occasion. Whether you are looking for a quick meal for the kids, or a sumptuous evening meal, La Terraza has something for everyone!
Recently renovated, the comfortable and modern ambience of La Terraza is ideal for long lunches and cocktails in the afternoon, and al fresco a la carte dinners accompanied by live music every evening.
Poolside Fun at Kanaloa Terrace
In September we have pool parties two afternoons per week. Be entertained as you enjoy sunshine & cocktails by the pool!
- Monday: Hawaiian Party with Saxophonist
- Thursday: Retro Party with Guitarist
We are proud to serve Starbucks ® coffees and La Lechera ice cream from the poolside Food Truck, which you can enjoy in the cool shade of the Kanaloa Terrace, looking out to sea.

Tikki Pool Bar is also open throughout the month, where you will find a tempting menu of hot and cold snacks, from burgers and wraps to salads and paninis, you won't get hungry by the pool!
Further refreshments and slushes are available at the new Aloha Bar by the kiddies ball park, plus also new is Ben & Jerry's ® ice cream station, which is already proving popular in it's first year.
Salitos Bar & Seafront Promenade
Salitos seafront chillout bar is a great place to spend a few relaxing holiday hours with unbeatable views and an impressive cocktail menu.
Treat yourself to a drink after a walk along the promenade, or why not arrange a meet up for some afternoon cocktails, a chilled glass of your favourite drink at sun-down, or for a nightcap after dinner watching the reflection of the stars twinkle on the sea.
Join our activities!
We have a full-on kids activities programme all month, with activities split into three age groups. Water activity days take place twice per week until the middle of September.
There is plenty for the adults to do too! A typical weekly programme includes stretching and yoga classes in the morning, petanca by the sea, darts and Sjoelen, which are all a great way to meet fellow guests and make new friends.

Mini discos, kids cinema club, tribute acts and musical theatre shows take place every night throughout the month.
